Thinking about how quickly these last several months have passed before my eyes. Looking back I am not completely sure what I have really done, but I do know the extra family time has been special and memorable… That is my silver lining. πŸ’™ Last week was my first elective surgery since quarantine. Patient presented to the office for a post operative appointment 1 week after a simple incision and drainage with bone biopsy due to an abscess secondary to a puncture wound and complicated with several underlying co-morbidities. This is what happens when directions are not followed and proper care and antibiotics are not continued. Back to the hospital πŸ₯ back to the operating room 😷 Foot infections are serious.
