Thinking about how quickly these last several months have passed before my eyes. Looking back I am not completely sure what I have really done, but I do know the extra family time has been special and memorable… That is my silver lining. 💙
Last week was my first elective surgery since quarantine. Although Florida opened up for elective cases several weeks ago, personally I was not ready to move on with my life (surgically) and bring healthy patients into the hospital environment. 🏥😷
This patient specifically had become more active over quarantine and what was previously mildly painful deformities turned into constant pain and discomfort. Also – what better time to have surgery performed when you are working from home for the infinite future. 🤷🏼♀️
